The following Youth football Board positions are open for the year 2012
7th-8th Grade Director:
Position Role
Responsible for coordination, management, and support for the 7th and 8th grade teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify, interview, and perform background checks on potential coaches.
- Select 7th-8th grade team coaches.
- Establish 7th-8th grade teams. Participate in the team selection process.
- Communicate team rosters to coaches.
- Participate in coach training and development.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for after-school football.
- Coordinate and manage busing for games as needed.
- Manage budget and expenses for 7th-8th grade football.
- Address 7th-8th grade coach questions and issues.
- Address 7th-8th grade team parents questions and issues.
- Represent Elk River in League meetings.
- Attend and participate in Board Meetings.
Hamburger Stand Director:
Position Role
Responsible for managing and running the hamburger stand at varsity football games.
Responsibilities
? Purchase food.
? Coordinate staffing.
? Manage hamburger stand operations.
? Manage concessions at all special events.
? Advertise, promote, generate business.
? Collect revenues and give them to the treasurer.
? Manage equipment.
? Attend and participate in Board Meetings.
